No. Air Transat Virtual members don't need an active VATSIM or IVAO account. However, we do recommend having one, since those networks offer free ATC coverage that enhances the realism of your flights.
Simply visit our Registration Page and complete the application form. You'll need to provide your name, email, VATSIM or IVAO CID (optional), Discord username, and basic information. Applications are typically reviewed within 24-48 hours.
Yes! We understand that many flight simmers enjoy participating in multiple communities. We only ask that when you're flying under Air Transat Virtual callsigns, you represent our community professionally and follow our procedures.

Flying Operations

To maintain active status, pilots must complete at least one (1) flight every 30 days. If you're unable to fly due to personal commitments, you can request a Leave of Absence (LOA) through the Crew Centre. Accounts inactive for more than 60 days without an approved LOA will be automatically suspended.
Air Transat Virtual provides a comprehensive schedule system with realistic routes based on Air Transat operations. While we encourage flying scheduled routes, you may also book custom flights as long as they use aircraft in our fleet and depart from/arrive at Air Transat hubs or destinations.
ACARS (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) is our flight tracking software that automatically records your flight data and submits PIREPs (Pilot Reports). Yes, you must use our ACARS client for all flights to ensure accurate tracking and statistics. It's easy to set up and runs in the background while you fly.

Technical Support

Visit the Password Reset Page on the Crew Centre and enter your registered email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support via Discord.
Air Transat Virtual liveries are available in the Downloads section of the Crew Centre. We provide liveries for all major aircraft in our fleet across MSFS, X-Plane, and P3D platforms. External livery sources like Flightsim.to are also acceptable as long as they represent Air Transat accurately.
First, ensure your simulator is running and that you're loaded into an aircraft. Make sure you've selected the correct simulator in ACARS settings. If issues persist:
  • Check firewall/antivirus isn't blocking ACARS
  • Run ACARS as Administrator
  • Reinstall ACARS and required SimConnect components
  • Contact our support team on Discord with screenshots
